A charismatic man returns home to America from World War II and forms a faith-based organization. He is now known as "the Master" and his belief system is catching on. As the group is gaining momentum and adding new converts, a young drifter arrives and becomes the Master?s invaluable aid. In another angle we can say, A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as "the Master" whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.
